Painting on Glass - Blue Tree

The artwork is a framed 8" x 10" painting on glass featuring a lone tree with blue foliage silhouetted against a vibrant, colorful background. The tree is depicted as a strong contrast with the background which is a warm yellow near the middle, suggesting the light of a sunrise or sunset. The composition, which is created using a reverse painting technique, provides an almost 3D effect.  The style is somewhat minimalist, relying on the interplay of contrasting colors and simple shapes to convey the scene.
